TechArt, a renowned name in the Porsche tuning scene, has chosen the Tokyo Auto Salon as the stage to introduce its latest creation – the GTsport, a modular customization concept designed for the Porsche 911 Turbo S (992).
Already hailed as “the most perfect sports car ever,” the 911 Turbo S serves as the dynamic canvas for tuning specialists like TechArt to push the boundaries of performance and personalization. The German tuning firm, known for its precision and dedication, has crafted a limited edition GTsport, consisting of just 30 units, to showcase the untapped potential of the current 992-generation 911 Turbo S.
Emphasizing a “high level of individuality” and an “optional scope,” TechArt’s exclusive personalization program allows clients to transform the stock 911 Turbo into a unique masterpiece. From exterior and interior styling modifications to performance upgrades, the options are vast and varied.
The revealed images depict a standard overhaul, featuring a striking front bumper with side canards, side skirts, and side air intakes. All elements, designed by TechArt, can be customized with carbon fiber inserts. Complemented by a meticulously crafted rear diffuser and a carbon rear spoiler, these modifications not only enhance the car’s aesthetic appeal but also contribute to improved aerodynamics.
The carbon aero hood adds an elegant design touch, exuding a subtle race car vibe. Continuing the racing inspiration, TechArt equips the GTsport with Formula VI Race wheels. Extras such as a TechArt exhaust system with carbon tailpipes, a threaded spring kit, and side mirror trims further amplify the individuality of the vehicle.
In the realm of performance upgrades, the GTsport boasts TechArt’s Power Kit TA 092/T1.1, elevating the 3.7-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine to 710 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque, a significant increase from the stock 650 hp and 590 lb-ft. Alternatively, owners can opt for the Power Kit TA 092/T2.1, which replaces the turbochargers, adjusts the software, and pushes the output to an impressive 800 hp.
The customization extends to the interior, with TechArt’s Refined Interior option offering additional leather and unique colored stitching. For those seeking an even higher level of personalization, the TechArt GTsport Exclusive Interior is available, though specific details are yet to be revealed.
TechArt will proudly present its unique GTsport concept at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024, running from January 12 to 14. Experience the fusion of exclusivity and performance in this limited edition masterpiece.
